Kenneth W. Faifer (December 24, 1941 - August 7, 2017)

On Monday, August 7, 2017, Kenneth entered into eternal rest at his home in Carrizozo, NM.  W

He was born in Victoria, TX, but moved to San Antonio as a young man.  He began work with HEB Grocery Company as a bagger at Store #18 on Austin Hwy and retired 38+ years later as a Store Director in New Braunfels.  He and his wife, Sue, moved to New Mexico after his retirement because of his love of the mountains, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jacquelin Sue Faifer, daughters; Michele Barrett (Brad), Melissa Faifer (Richard Shandy), Kimberly Purdy (Chris), grandchildren; Etahn, Paige, Layla, Addie Mae and Brylan.  Also his brother and best friend, Arln D. Faifer (Carla) of Floresville, TX.  Kenneth spent the weekend prior to his death celebrating with his loving family for the 100th birthday of his beloved Aunt Florine Heinroth.  He leaves behind many cousins nieces, and nephews whom he loved dearly.
