It pained me deeply to lose Pat, my cousin, and the closest I had to being a "brother", as I remember the many hunting, and fishing adventures we had walking many miles per day sometimes. Pat was a wonderful, kind, and very thoughtful guy who was very shy, but had a heart of gold. He had some bad losses too early in his life with his wife, and loss of significant family members. I think he was a very torn and yet outstanding member of our small Nursery community, who I miss tremendously.
It's so hard to lose some so young that meant so much. I just wish he was back so we could discuss the good old days. Maybe later, who knows? I loved this great, tender-hearted guy very much, and he was a blessing in my life that never is forgotten.
