Consuelo "Connie" Saldivar (Trevino)

Consuelo "Connie" Saldivar, 70, of Victoria passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010.  She was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Victoria, to the late Luis Saldivar and Micaela Candelaria Saldivar.  She was an office manager and worked 42 years at Crossroads Diagnostic Imaging.  She was president of the LIbrary Book Club, a member of the Society of X-Ray Technicians, and enjoyed reading novels and working on crossword puzzles.  She was Catholic.

She is survived by her husband, the love of her life of 48 years, Philip G. Trevino of Victoria, sister, Esther Midgett of Victoria;and brothers Ruben Saldivar of Kentucky, Eloy Saldivar of Victoria, and Louis Saldivar of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary S. Reyna, Margaret S. Rodriguez, and Baby Michaela; and brother Baby Ruben.

Family visitation will be 5-8 PM Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Artero Memorial Chapels in Victoria.  PUblic visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2010, with rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Artero Memorial Chapels.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.  Intermnet will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at Memorial Park Cemetary.

Pallbearers: Roger Vega, J.D. Cano, Inez Salazar, Ronald Reyna, Robert Mendieta, and Eloy Saldivar.  Honory Pallbearers: Samuel A. Ramirez, Dr. Stein, Jesse Trevino, Dr. Krueger, Dr. Long, Dr. Llompart, Mario De Luna, and the isters and priest of Our Lady of Sorrows.
