Reynaldo "Ray" Sanchez, 69, of Edna, Texas, passed away, Saturday, August 21, 2010.  He was born Sept. 5, 1940, in Victoria, to the late Marcos Sanchez and Manuela Garcia Adame.  He was retired from Alcoa and a Catholic.

He is survived by this wife, Rachel Siller Sanchez; daughters, doris Maccalley of Savannah, GA, Ruby Sanchez Lefler of Victoria, and Rebecca Guitterez of Victoria; sons, Rene Sanchez of Houston and Ray S. Sanchez of Edna; 19 grandchilren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Manuel Adame; and brother, Joe Sanchez. A memorial service was held Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 at Artero Memorial Chapels in Victoria, TX
