2020 Update: So blessed to be living where we do and enjoying life with so many wonderful people in the Victoria area.
My time is spent volunteering in several areas: At First United Methodist Church,I am a Stephen Leader (lay-caregiving program), Prescription Assistance Program, sing in choir, helping to update our church library. Community wise: have trained to work with American Red Cross, co-ordinated the service center during Katrina and Rita, have also done the Armed Forces Emergency Service, which keeps the military and their families connected.
God has blessed us in so many ways, just can't help but give back even in retirement.
Working on class reuions has been some of my most special times. Connecting old friends and creating new relationships for the future has been and continues to be one of life's blessings for me. Thank you for letting me be a part of such joy!

Summer 2012
Took a 5 day trip to Washington, DC with our grandson, Trevor, 13 and grand-daughter, Riley, 15. Was the same trip taken with their mom when she was 12. Security has changed in DC since that time, but we felt secure, but not thwarted in our activities. The world is still swarming our our nations capitol: it is an amazing place. Definitely "bucket list" item.
Still enjoying our small pool and spa in our backyard. Thankful for health, friends, and country. Watching the elections, we are not perfect, but not planning on changing my citizenship any time soon.
2013: not sure where it went.
2014: planning our 55th class reunion in October. Also will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in December. Not sure what our plans are for celebrating.
2015-2016: October had cataract surgery, November discovered breast cancer, early detection; had lumpectomy in Jan 2016, no need for chemo, 33 radiation treatments finished April 4th. All treatment done in Victoria with a great support system.
We are busy with our church, Robert is District Pres of United Methodist Men and on the conference Board of Ordained Ministry; I am lay leader for church, sing in choir, work Rx Asst program at church, answer phone 1 day a week, help organize church library and choir inventory, plenty to do. We are so blessed with our health (need to loose some weight) but still able to move.
