Robert Wayne Gaubatz, 54, of Hitchcock and formerly of Victoria died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 1995.
Robert was born Feb. 18, 1941, in Goliad. He was retired from Union Pacific Railroad.
Survivors include daughters, Dina Walton, Kathryn and Elizabeth Gaubatz, all of Austin; sister : LaVerne Verdine, brother Jimmy and one grandchild.
Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Victoria.

My friend from boy scouts to graduation. My "rock" at right tackle that protected me from defensive lineman and opened big holes for Kenneth and David. "Gordo" had a heart bigger than him and was a true friend to all who knew him.
