Victoria - Martha Joyce Georgie Wacker, 76, of  Victoria, Texas entered the pearly gates on Saturday, September 23, 2017 after a lengthly battle with Alzheimers.  She was born October 7, 1940 in  Victoria, TX to the late Karl Oscar and Martha Kleiber Georgie.

Martha worked in childcare and cook at First Baptist Daycare for 18 years.

She was predeced in death by her parents; husband, Lee Roy Wackar, daughter Sheila Wackarr; son Sharri Wackar; step-daughter Robin Sills; brother Karl Wayner Georgie and nephew Dewayne Warner.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Karla Wackar, of Victoria; step-daughters, Fonda Schneider and Melody Borden both of Houston; step-son, Lee Roy Wackar, II; sister Barbara Georgie James, of Victoria; neice, Haley Warner, ofMineral Wells; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Martha will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Inez, TX.  Family will welcome friends beginning at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Alzheimers Association or to Crown Hospice of Victoria.
