Marjorie Nell Haney Fromme

Victoria: passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012.  She was born November 24, 1940 in Miami, Oklahoma to the late Frank and Blanche White Haney.  She was a kind and loving wife, mother, and Nonnie.  She lived her life serving God and caring for her family.  She loved kids, birds, reading, and sewing.  she taught tatting classses at the Victoria Mall.  She was always kind and never said a cross word.  She was a treasure that will be deeply missed.

She was a member of The Jesus Church (United Pentecostal) in Victoria, TX, and active in the Ladies Auxiliary as well as the nursery manager for many years.  She received her Associates Degree from Victoriq College, and was a retired claims clerk for the Social Security Administration.

She is survived by her husband of 49 1/2 years, Kenneth Fromme, daughters, Joy Fromme Staffard (James) and Jill Casey (Richard Gonzales) all of Victoria; sister, Jeanette Dittert (Henry) of El Paso; brothere, Bill Haney (Clothyle) of Conroe, David Haney (Judy) of San Antonio, and Bruce Haney (Gayle) of Stephenville; five grandchildren; Ty, Hannah, Breanna, Gabriel, and Allyson.

Visitation will be held 7:00 PM - 9:;00 PM Friday, March 23, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 24, 2012 at The Jesus Church, with the Pastor A.L. Kight officiating.  Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetary.

Serving as pallbearss will be Bruce Haney, James Staffard, Richard Gonzales, Travis Fromme, Allen Ty Fromme, and Jacob Lopez.  Honorary pallbearers include Henry Dittert, Joe Staffard, Bill Haney, and David Haney.
