" A kind, gentle man has passed away.  Leslie William Johnson (Victoria High School Band, 1956-1959) died on October 21, 2013 from complications of COPD.  He had battled the disease for a number of years.  He was surrounded by caring friends and extended family when, three weeks past past his 72nd birthday, he finally gave up the fight.  Rest in peace, Leslie."
