Meredith Moore Haas, 69, of Seadrift, TX, passed away Dec. 14, 2010 in Port Lavaca.  She was born Nov. 4, 1941, in Beaumont, TX.

She very much enjoyed fishing and spending fime with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Leo Haass of Seadrift; three daughters, Debbie Colorado of Rosharon, Laurie and Bruch Holzie of Shore Acres, and Susan Parker of Rosharon; three sons, Kent and Linda Kohlaffel, Cuero and Bobbi Kohlaffel of The Woodlands, and Terry Haas of Fort Worth; two brothers, Sid Moore of Maryville, TN, and Adrian Lee of Falsom, LA.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Isabel Moore.

The family received visitors from 1 PM to 2 PM on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2010 at Hertiage Funeral Home.  Memorial services followed at 2 PM with the Rev. David Kind, pastor of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Victoria officiating.
