Janice Kaaren Rutledge Darden, 66, died Dec. 18, 2007.  She was born Oct. 12, 1941 in Victoria to the late C.A. and Celesta Hummel Rutledge.  She graduated from Victoria College with an associate's degree.  After many years of dedicated service as a title abstractor, she retired from the law firm of Key and Gordy in La Grange, GA.

Janice and husband Frank had recently moved back to Victoria and were members of First English Lutheran Church.

Janice is survived by husband, Frank E. Darden, Jr.; sisters, Ruth Suddarth, Merle Thompson, and Melanie Daude and one niece.

Interment was at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
