Norris Allan Teague

NORRIS ALLAN TEAGUE: Seabrook, TX

Norris Allan Teague, 72, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014.  He was born in Austin on August 2, 1941 to the late James Everrett and Selma Frances Teague.

He lived in Victoria most of his life and had moved with his wife Linda to Seabrook in June, 2012 to be near their family.  Norris was a building inspector for the City of Victoria and then worked for Victoria County appraisal District and retired after 25 years of service.  He proudly served his country as a member of the Marine Corp for 10 years which included numerous tours of Vietnam.

He married Linda Wehman on June 25, 1967.  His hobbies included model railroading, and he helped start the Victoria Paddling Club and Trail.  Norris was also a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Confederate Air Forc.

Norris is survived by his wife, Linda of Seabrook; son, Travis and wife Karis and twin thirteen year old grandsons, Blake and Connor Teague of Seabrook.

Visitation was held Tuesday, February 25th, 2014.  Graveside services were held Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Rev. James Shamburger officiating  at Memory Gardens Cemetary with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria County Veterans Council, AL, CWV ,VFW, DAV, MCL, MOWW, EX-POW, MOPH, VVA, and KWV.

Pallbearers were Al Bomba, Jim Waller, Richard Chapa, Jack Price, Perry Perez, Charles Brune, and Jason Brune.  Honorary Pallbearers were Blake and Connor Teague.  Donations were to be made to the  American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.  Arrangements were entrusted to Grace Funeral Home, Victoria, TX.
