Jerris Rendy Thorton, 18, died July 15, 1960 in Victoria after a long illness.

Jerris was born Oct. 7, 1941, at Deering, Mo. and had lived in Victoria for the past 12 years.  She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors: her parents, Mr. & Mrs. J. L. Thorton: four brothers, Lester, Charles Ray, Lee and Phipps Huntly Thorton.

Interment was at Crescent Valley Cemetery.
