Barbara Lynette Young Sappington died Oct. 29, 2007 at the age of 66.  She was born Aug.. 25, 1941, to the late J.D. Young and Anita Young George.

Lynette was raised in Victoria, was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church and graduated from Victoria High School in 1959.  On Feb. 2, 1962 she married Hugh Sappington and together they raised two children Dale and Lisa.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Gail Hamman and one nephew, Peyton Cann.

Survivors include her husband Hugh, children Dale and Lisa; sister, Karen Foster.

Interment was in Rocky Creek Cemetery.
