Internship in general surgery one year 67-68 at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis
Residency in radiology from 1968-1969, 1971-1973 at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis
1969-1971 Served 2 years in USAF at Dyess AFB, Abilene, Texas
1973-1974 One year as instructor in Musculoskeletal radiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, St. Louis
1974-2009 Private practice of radiology in Abilene, Texas
2009-Present. Doing part time radiology in Abilene and Roswell, NM.

Two boys. John, born 1968 is a neuroradiologist in Abilene in my former radiology practice. The second son, Leland, has autism and resides at Abilene State School. He is a wonderful loving, sweet son. John has two darling daughters, Victoria, born in 1997, and Natalie, born in 2003. I have played racket ball and tennis in the past. I try to jog and work out when I can. I have hunted quite a bit through the years, especially for elk, and continue to do so, even though my hunting trips are much less frequent than in the past,and enjoy photography, especially of hummingbirds and my granddaughters. Carol, my wife, and I have been married for 50 years as of August 8, 2015. She graduated with a teaching degree from Southwest Texas State and worked for several years, to help put me through medical school. We were married between my sophomore and junior years of medical school. She collects antiques and cut glass and enjoys being with our grandchildren, as do I.
I retired from radiology as of May 1, 2015 and am thoroughly enjoying the freedom.
